Text accountability and support
For some clients, the time in session is not adequate and they might want some additional guidance and support during the course of their daily lives. All Voices is here to help in between formal therapy sessions to nudge you along. Most clients find this support extremely helpful especially in the beginning of counseling as this is when making these scary, new or uncomfortable changes are often the hardest.
Some of the ways your therapist can support you in between sessions-
Reminders to ensure you are eating at regular intervals during the day
Accountability and suggestions on how much to eat
Assisting with decision making on what to eat
Comfort and discussion when your urges come up
Encouragement that you can do these hard things
Reach outs during times of day that are more triggering for you
Support on how to self-soothe and diffuse stressful situations
Reinforcement of techniques discussed in session
Gentle guidance and conversations about food and behaviors that will take you closer to the life you want
All Voices offers text support packages that cover near-real time text access to your therapist or if you prefer we can have your therapist check in once or twice a day to see how you navigated the day, answer questions you have or be a compassionate ear to listen and offer guidance.
All text support takes place using a HIPAA compliant platform so you can ensure your privacy is protected and you are are receiving discreet communications.
